Commisioning

Since 2010, GESMAR has been present in most of the European shipyards in Italy, France, Spain, Germany, and Finland, conducting the commissioning of MKN galley equipment. We take pride in having participated in the construction of the newest cruise ships in the industry. As WMF, MKN, MEIKO Official Service Partners, we oversee, inspect, and ensure the correct installation of all galley equipment by the shipyard. Commissioning is a crucial and lengthy process that GESMAR proudly undertakes for our partners. Leveraging our technical and personal experience from the cruise ship industry, we excel at this important task.

Training is another significant aspect of commissioning on a cruise ship. With our international technical team, we conduct technical and user training for the crew onboard the cruise ship in multiple languages.

LONG EXPERIENCE IN THE CRUISE INDUSTRY

Refits

In collaboration with Meiko, WMF and MKN, we have participated in numerous turnkey projects for dishwashers, ovens, and other galley equipment. Our experienced team can remove the old equipment and replace it with brand new, ensuring proper installation in accordance with USPH regulations. We have executed these refit projects in drydocks and during normal ship operations, thanks to our skilled team and effective coordination with the ship’s crew.
